Bed frame or bed base: what the words mean
North American hotel procurement calls the support under a mattress a bed base. In the UK the same item is usually a bed frame, and the word divan is kept for the upholstered version, which we do not make. The steel structure underneath is what this page covers.
Both readings apply to what we build. The JY series is a fixed frame at 260 mm, the conventional choice for apartments and staff housing. Hotel projects more often specify the CZ1 or CZ2 knock-down base, because a 0.08 m³ carton keeps freight down on a 300-room order. Those two sit in our knock-down range.
What is not on this page: upholstered divans, mattresses and full room packages. If your schedule lists those lines, they sit with another supplier.

Carton dimensions, volume and gross weight per HJF-PW-2026-001 (measured and confirmed by HJF Metal, 2026-09-30). Slat counts are given per size — some series use a higher slat count on the wider sizes. Weights are gross, including packaging. Bed frame outer dimensions follow the drawing confirmed by both parties. Prices are not published — request a quote.
